Selected Portfolio Of Work

I design and facilitate learning experiences at the intersection of industry, design, and emerging technologies.

As an industrial designer and design strategist, my work focuses on helping students and organizations navigate complex systems through hands-on, interdisciplinary approaches. I bring real-world challenges into the studio through industry partnerships, guiding teams to translate research, ambiguity, and human insight into meaningful, actionable outcomes.

How I teach

As an educator and mentor, I create space for curiosity to grow and for students to connect their passions to meaningful work in a changing world. I aim to support emerging designers in developing empathy, optimism, and a collaborative mindset, while recognizing their role in shaping future systems and more sustainable outcomes.

In my studios, I extend learning beyond the classroom through partnerships with industry and community. These experiences place students in real contexts, where they learn to navigate ambiguity, work through constraints, and build confidence through iteration and reflection.

Rather than focusing only on what is designed, I encourage students to consider why it matters, exploring the broader implications of their work across people, systems, and the environment. Through research, dialogue, and ongoing feedback, they learn to ground their ideas in real insight.

By weaving together design research, systems thinking, and sustainability, I guide students in translating complexity into thoughtful, tangible outcomes.

Design Lens

Designing for Meaning
I guide students to connect their work to something larger than the artifact, grounding ideas in human experience, purpose, and cultural relevance.

Learning Through Real Contexts
I bring the world into the studio through partnerships with industry and community, creating spaces where students learn by engaging with real people, real constraints, and real systems.

Navigating Complexity with Care
I encourage students to work across systems, technologies, and disciplines, while staying attentive to impact, equity, and the long-term implications of what they create.
