DESIGN STRATEGY FOR FINANCIAL SERVICE TRANSFORMATION

As a senior creative strategist adviser with Indigo Slate’s Human experience Innovation Studio, I lead design thinking workshops for Microsoft’s diverse industry partners in Financial Services. In this particular collaboration, I designed the overall envisioning workshop for Microsoft Catalyst team, a customer engagement journey that Microsoft and their partners use to help organizations conceive and realize business transformation for commercial banking.

CHALLENGE:

Global economic pressures and competitive challenges are driving the financial services industry to create innovative solutions that would enable sustainable growth. While customers expect personalized service and products as well as guidance to manage their financial health, employees need better connected experiences to become more productive. Microsoft Cloud for financial services is designed to help manage data, to empower employees, differentiate experiences, and help fight fraud while facilitating security compliance. As a design strategist collaborating with the Microsoft Catalyst team, I help accelerate the digital transformation for financial industry partners by identifying and designing strategic roadmap for envisioning workshops to empower and achieve more for a better individualized experience.


SOLUTION:

I advise on the overall strategy and design of the envisioning workshops for Microsoft and their clients through a co- creation process to support their clients digital transformation journey. By strategically designing the envisioning workshops we create a platform for discovering and understanding user contexts, defining user journeys, ideating tailored solutions and articulating the narratives. As a result, together with the Microsoft Catalyst team we offer solutions for optimizing resources and staff to customer needs by aligning where Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services can augment the industry relevant compliance, security and interoperability areas.

As a direct result of these collaborations we are able to:

  • Empower employees through workflows to boost employee experiences and strengthen customer connections.
