MENTORING STARTUPS THROUGH DESIGN

As one of San Francisco's network of experts in the USA, I serve as design mentor to the accelerator programs at Swissnex Young Innovator program. Swissnex in SF connects the next generation of innovators to collaborate and create futures in which the planet and society thrive. My collaboration with this great organization has been acting as a mentor and expert panelist in their accelerator programs for startups.

CHALLENGE:

How might we empower the next generation of innovators to collaborate and create a sustainable future?


SOLUTION:

I advised on the overall strategy of the product direction by guiding young innovators through a co- creation process to support their design journeys. The second phase focused on strategic mentorship on how to tell a compelling story of their creation by refining their storytelling around product offering. The third phase focused on creating meaningful experiences that are inspiring in the Bay Area startup ecosystem for the young innovators by connecting them with my network.

IMPACT:

  • As a direct result of this mentorship and collaboration the innovator teams were able to navigate emerging design and business methodologies that are best aligned with the Swissnex launch program and connected with the Bay Area startup Ecosystem.
