As a pioneer in bridging the circular economy to the design process, I provide leadership on design and strategy services in the intersection of business, technology and education. For over 20 years I have been utilizing my customized and collaborative design methodology and systems thinking skills to guide a diverse set of clients in identifying what and who they care about, exploring, testing and articulating their concepts with authenticity. As a future thinker and connector, I provide expertise in discovering how the human story of my clients’ innovations connect to technology, environment and future business models.
Alongside my design and strategy practice, I lead philanthropic engagements using the power of design for good. Recently I was elected to be the West District Chapter Representative by Industrial Designers Society of America Community after chairing the San Francisco Chapter cultivating conversations. My passion in philanthropy, design thinking and community building led me to found The Bay Area Turkish Society, a non profit where I incorporate design thinking, leadership and sustainability as its core values. Born in Izmir, Turkey, I have called Berkeley, California my home for over two decades with my husband and daughter.
